    The Town of Collierville is looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our community!  Located thirty minutes east of Memphis, Tennessee, the Town of Collierville has all the amenities and services of a large metropolitan area successfully blended with historic charm and character.     The City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee (Population 11,633) seeks a proactive, progressive and seasoned professional leader to serve as its new Director of Human Resources. This is a senior level management position and the Director reports to the City Administrator. Lawrenceburg is a full-service municipality, led by a five member City Council. The City has 136 full-time employees. The Director leads all Human Resources operations related to the City’s recruitment and retention, labor relations/personal matters, workers comp, employee benefits, pay and classification systems, workforce development and employee policies and procedures for approval. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and at least 4 years of responsible professional experience in Human Resources/Personnel including 2 years at a supervisory or management level. Public sector experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position will be considered.

    The City has established a total compensation range of $54,080.00 to $60,195.00 with a very competitive benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience. Typically, the City will hire qualified individuals at the mid-range level for a Director position.     Public Entity Partners is seeking applications for an Underwriting Assistant to assist in the processing of necessary underwriting support functions, including coordination and direction of work processes and systems. The position reports to the Vice President of Underwriting.

    The position will coordinate the processing of new and renewal applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations, and audits, from application delivery, to logging receipt, process tracking, policy contract production/delivery and creation of internal file documents.  The employee will also perform general rating tasks and analyze budgets, to support underwriting staff. Additionally, the employee will participate in the design, structure, maintenance, and oversight of underwriting systems and participate in the oversight of the quality of data and documentation within the underwriting systems. The employee perform backup for various clerical positions in other departments on an as needed basis and performs general clerical functions for the Underwriting department.

    The position requires two years or more higher education (bachelor’s degree preferred) or equivalent experience working with insurance lines or governmental entities. Applicants should have a knowledge of Underwriting procedures, workflows, tools and systems, Microsoft 365 Application, Excel, Outlook, OnBase, CRM, PEP Underwriting Systems and any other program as needed to accomplish tasks.  Applicants must have the ability to communicate accurately and professionally with members, agents and other employees and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

    Jefferson County Commission (Birmingham, AL), is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the Director of Human Resources position.

    The Director of Human Resources directs the day-to-day planning, organizing, directing and coordination of the program activities of the Jefferson County Commission’s Human Resource Department, including Employee Services, Recruitment & Selection, Human Resources Information Systems, and Learning and Organizational Development. The Director sets overall policy and long-range and short-range strategic goals and objectives within the Jefferson County Commission, and assigns, supervises and evaluates the work of professional and clerical staff members. The Director develops operating policies and procedures, ensures resources are available to achieve work plans, resolves complex business issues, and establishes management practices and processes that ensure the accomplishment of performance standards.

    The Director of Human Resources position is a contracted position, that can be renewed afterwards based on performance, with an expected salary range of $114,190.00 – $186,519.00 (DOE & DOQ).
