    The City of Sevierville invites applications for the position of Risk Manager.  The essential function of the position within the organization is to manage risk exposures within the City’s government. The position is responsible for identifying risk exposures within governmental operations, assessing potential impact of the risks, evaluating likelihood of occurrence, and developing appropriate measures to control, limit, and finance the risk exposures. The position develops and implements programs within organizational policies; reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.

    The position requires education or training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in law, risk management, insurance, business administration, or a closely related field. Requires six years of related experience.

    The City of Germantown, TN is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager.  The HR Manager will coordinate HR policies and programs with emphasis on recruitment, workers compensation and other areas, insuring that the organization is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  In addition, the HR Manager works closely with the Director of Human Resources in developing, implementing and evaluation ongoing HR policies, programs, functions and activities.  The HR Manager also assists with the safety efforts and acts as co-chair for the safety committee.     The City of Knoxville is recruiting for an HR Analyst. The Analyst serves as a staff analyst in the Civil Service Department. The candidate may be solely responsible for human resources projects or programs of moderate to complex difficulty or may serve as a member of a team when assigned to complex projects and performs a wide variety of professional-level human resources functions. The position requires knowledge of personnel administration and human resource, knowledge of state and federal legislation such as Title VII, EEOC, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, etc. and their impact upon the human resource management function and knowledge of principles of adult learning and the ability to implement effective training programs.

    Public Entities Partners is looking for a Loss Control  Consultant.  Under the direction of the Vice President of Risk Services,  the Loss Control Consultant serves as the loss control resource in the east Tennessee region, providing loss control surveys for municipalities, utilities, schools, housing authorities, and other public agencies that have workers’ compensation and/or liability coverage with Public Entity Partners.  This position identifies safety and liability exposures and provides recommendations and training designed to reduce these exposures, while informing the member and the Underwriting Department of unmanaged risks.  This position will work an east Tennessee office.  A copy of the job description can be found HERE.
