Metro Nashville/Davidson County has a vacancy for an HR Analyst - Employee Relations Specialist. The HR Analyst 3 - Employee Relations position delivers a broad range of professional employee relations and other Human Resources (HR) services. A key focus of the HR Analyst 3 - Employee Relations is to anticipate, address, and support resolution of policy and procedural issues and inquiries, interpret and apply rules and guidelines, and ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and Civil Service Rules and Policies.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of professional HR experience
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Doctor of Jurisprudence or SHRM, HRCI, or IPMA-HR Certification
· Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations.
· Demonstrated experience with assessment and resolution of complex employee relations issues, including EEO complaint investigation and responses to EEOC
