2019 July West TN Membership Meeting

This is the West TN Membership meeting.  Speakers for the event will be Mr. Scott Lindsey.  Scott is currently an HR consultant specializing in sexual harassment avoidance and an insurance broker specializing in workplace benefits for local government, school systems, and small businesses. Mr. Lindsey was also Executive Director of Employee Relations for Metro Nashville Public Schools.  Scott will provide insight from his experiences with Metro Nashville into the value of conducting sexual harassment investigations and some of the obstacles that can get in the way.

Our second speaker will be Mr. Michael Lerman on "More Power to Recruit, Retain, and Reward - Benefits Modernization is the Key.  Mike is a Managing Partner of LVI Benefits and District Manager for Colonial Life.  He has studied employee benefit trends for 25 years. He brings a unique perspective to TPMA with tools and innovative ideas for all of us to consider. Benefits to be discussed include Student Loan Repayment, 529 Savings Plans, Charitable Giving, Pet Insurance, College Tuition Scholarship Rewards, Identity Theft, Financial Wellness, Online/Call Center/Virtual and live Benefit Counseling, and other trending products and services.
